We are currently seeking a CAE Engineer to be part of our fast paced and quality focused team located in Edison, New Jersey. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field required. A Masters Degree a plus and have 5 - 6 years of experience in equipment design and FEA. You must work with minimal supervision and be familiar with NX CAD and NX CAE software. Need to have a high mechanical aptitude. Must be familiar with product design and show aptitude in FEA analysis. Responsible for specifying requirements, execution and evaluation of designs, analysis, development, testing and control of major engineering projects where creativity and initiative are involved as well as a high level of independent judgment. Requirements: Develop engineering simulation and analysis plans for assigned project Complete FEA analysis including creation of simulation models from CAD/Design data per assigned projects Compare simulation results to performance requirements and recommend viable design solutions Correlate analysis results to physical test and update simulation models and procedures Document simulation results Generates technical solutions for current, new and major programs Provides technical leadership for advanced technology development Performs complex design analysis Develops engineering designs (including subsystems) Implements engineering changes Specifies and balances system requirements Plans and implements test and/or development programs Communicates, coordinates, and consults with engineering departments and customers Stays abreast of new technology and competitive products Travels as required
